I'm so proud of myself to keep pushing... how long will it last.
Every time John and I talk we seem to just go for gold. So many interesting and sometimes aggressive talk come out. Even though we try to stick to subject sometimes we just lose track of what we were saying, but for me it is so enjoyable to share and re-share moment and times of our lives.
As a point of interest, ::Spoiler:: When John and out crew were in Texas, we stayed at a hotel called the candle wood. We kind of go over this... but it did have a full kitchen to work off of, and I tried to take advantage on the days we had there. It wasn't until Jordan and I were granted 3 weeks at an apartment where we really tried to go hard. Many awesome people/chefs came to our little home away from home to have some great, interesting and some what wild time.
Then it Rained…
So far, the two times I have been out to work this race, it rained mid race. So crazy how they actually have equipment ready for these occurrences.
While people are being poured on, intense and then to nothing, the track takes the grunt of the rain. Soon after it is done, these trucks with what sound like jet engines, blow the race track dry! It’s so crazy how quickly it happens too. It could look like total gloom for a moment but soon after the engines are roaring and the race continues.
This picture was taken right after the storm and during a fresh cigarette break. As we were setup on the inside circle of the track we had some awesome views… but don’t be fooled; it is loud as FUCK! Those engines are really fucking loud.
